season, sanctioned by
AMA Pro Racing,
announced today that tickets are
officially on sale for this
year’s Springfield Mile
I & II, which will take
place at the Illinois
State Fairgrounds in
Springfield, Illinois, Saturday,
August 30, and Sunday, August
31.
Widely considered the annual
crown jewel of the Progressive
AFT schedule, the Springfield
Mile I & II is destined to play
a major role in determining the
Grand National Championship when
the series arrives on its
traditional Labor Day Weekend
date. Representing two of the
final three races of the
schedule and with the #1 plates
in both the Mission AFT
SuperTwins and
AFT Singles presented by KICKER
up for grabs this season, the
“World’s Fastest Mile” will
match high drama with high
speed.
Combining incredible history
with strategic showdowns, and
unpredictable racing – the
Springfield Mile is motorcycle
dirt track racing at its
absolute pinnacle. Fans who
purchase their tickets in
advance to witness this iconic
event will save $10 per ticket,
which start at $20 for
Infield Tickets and
include a variety of upgraded
Grandstand
seating options to choose from.
Even better, an additional $5
discount is applied when
purchasing each two-day ticket.
All ticket holders will have
access to the Swap Meet
Show taking place on
the infield. Camping is also
available through the Illinois
State Fairgrounds campgrounds.
