thrilled to announce that
celebrated master bike builder
and vintage racing pioneer
Billy Lane will
serve as Grand Marshal
for the 2025 season opener on
March 6.
Renowned for his raw, innovative
designs at Choppers Inc,
his iconic appearances on “Biker
Build Off” and “Monster Garage,”
and his passion for pushing the
limits of speed and style, Lane
promises to bring an extra jolt
of adrenaline to the
festivities.
Fans will get a preview of
Billy’s unmistakable excitement
just days prior when he hosts
his hugely popular Sons
of Speed vintage
motorcycle race at New
Smyrna Speedway on
March 1. A
throwback to the daring days of
board-track and beach racing,
Sons of Speed has exploded from
just a dozen racers at its 2017
debut to a roster of more than
50 fearless riders today.
Billy’s dedication to preserving
the sport’s heritage, while
constantly reimagining it for a
new generation, perfectly
mirrors the spirit of
Progressive American Flat
Track.
