ALBION, N.Y. (March 2,
2023) – Waters
Autobody Racing is
pleased to announce the return
of Tanner Dean to
compete for the Parts
Unlimited AFT Singles presented
by KICKER championship
during the 2023 Progressive
American Flat Track season.
Dean rejoined the squad in 2022
after previously claiming a pair
of victories in an earlier stint
with Waters Autobody Racing,
which was originally founded
back in 2009 by Dave and Rhonda
Waters.
He flashed the speed to add to
that tally, but unfortunately,
his season was cut short when he
suffered a broken left leg at
the Texas Half-Mile. The Tacoma,
Washington native is now fully
recovered and anxious to make up
for lost time as he throws a leg
back over the team’s KTM 450
SX-F with continued support from
KTM North America.
“Quitting was never an option,”
Dean said. “I’m ready to get the
2023 season started off right.”
“Rhona and I are happy to
announce the return of Tanner,”
said Dave Waters. “He was
running up front at Texas and
even led a qualifying session
before he suffered his injury.
We’re happy he’s recovered and
excited to see what he can do in
2023. We’ve got a strong history
with him, and we hope to kindle
those winning ways this
season.”
Wates Autobody Racing would also
like to thank its sponsors for
the upcoming season, including
Staci Howell State Farm, KTM
North America, D&D Powersports,
Hebeler KTM, RLJ Racing, Wiseco
Pistons, RK Excel, EBC Brakes,
Rekluse, ODI, Full Spectrum
Batteries, DynoTech Research.
