DAYTONA
BEACH, Fla. (May 14,
2026) – Progressive
American Flat Track,
sanctioned by AMA
Pro Racing, has
announced that Arai
Helmet, Inc. will
return as the
Official Helmet of
Progressive AFT for
the 2026 season,
marking the ninth
consecutive year of
the partnership,
which began in 2018.
For more than 70
years, Arai has
remained focused on
a single objective:
Priority for
Protection. Central
to this approach is
the Arai Egg-Shaped
Form (ESF) shell—a
strong, smooth, and
round shell designed
to enhance Glancing
Off performance. By
helping to deflect
and disperse impact
energy, Arai’s
design philosophy
reflects a
continuous pursuit
of improved rider
protection through
real-world
performance.
This commitment is
evident throughout
the Progressive AFT
paddock, where many
of the sport’s top
competitors choose
Arai for its
protection,
consistency, fit,
and feel. From
emerging talent to
championship
contenders, riders
rely on the
confidence that
comes from a helmet
hand crafted with
purpose and refined
over decades.
“We’re proud to
continue our
partnership with
Progressive American
Flat Track for the
2026 season,” said
Brian Weston,
Managing Director at
Arai Helmet, Inc.
“Flat track racing
demands confidence
in your equipment,
and we’re honored
that so many of the
sport’s top riders
continue to choose
Arai for its
protection, comfort,
and craftsmanship.”
“Arai’s reputation
is built on a
long-standing
commitment to doing
things the right
way,” said Gene
Crouch, CEO of AMA
Pro Racing. “That
focus on protection
and consistency
translates directly
to rider confidence
every time they line
up. Their continued
partnership reflects
a shared standard of
performance across
the series.”
Despite its global
presence across
multiple premier
racing disciplines,
Arai remains guided
by its founding
principles while
continuing to pursue
incremental gains in
protection. This
balance of heritage
and ongoing
refinement aligns
naturally with
Progressive AFT’s
approach to
competition at the
highest level.
