We are just one week away from the first Mile race of the Progressive American Flat Track season.

On Saturday, July 4, the Drag Specialties DuQuoin Mile brings the sport back to the legendary Du Quoin State Fairgrounds, one of flat track’s most historic venues. Known as the Magic Mile, DuQuoin is built for high speeds, draft battles, and late-race moves that can change everything before the checkered flag.

As the first Mile of the year, DuQuoin marks a major turning point in the season and gives fans their first look at how the field stacks up on one of flat track’s biggest stages.

With the Fourth of July atmosphere, live music, entertainment, and a gigantic fireworks display, this is a holiday race weekend you will not want to miss.
