his seventh
successive victory
in the state in
Saturday’s
Appalachian
Harley-Davidson
Williams Grove
Half-Mile, Round 11
of 2026 Progressive
American Flat Track
season, sanctioned
by AMA Pro Racing.
The triumph was
Bauman’s fifth
straight at Williams
Grove Speedway in
Mechanicsburg,
Pennsylvania, in
particular, but the
streak that dates
all the way back to
2018 was put to the
test on this
evening.
Two minutes into the
ten-minute and
two-lap Mission AFT
SuperTwins Main,
Kody Kopp (No. 12
Latus Motors Racing
Harley-Davidson
XG750R) slung
underneath Bauman to
take over second. An
instant later,
Bauman not only
squared up Kopp but
also lunged ahead of
Dallas Daniels (No.
1 Estenson Racing
Yamaha MT-07) to
grab control of the
lead.
The remainder of the
race was a tense
affair with Daniels
consistently a
half-second or so
back, sizing up
Bauman all
throughout while
mapping out a
potential last-lap
strike.
And that bid nearly
came through. On the
final lap, Daniels
executed off a
near-textbook
slide-job, slashing
just ahead of Bauman
as they exited Turn
2.
However, Daniels
provided Bauman just
enough space to
squeeze back
through. Bauman then
managed to keep the
Yamaha pilot
corralled behind him
as they negotiated
Turns 3 and 4.
The subsequent drag
race to the
checkered flag saw
Bauman hold on by a
mere 0.077 seconds
at the stripe.
The win marked the
40th of Bauman’s
premier-class
career, making him
just the fifth rider
to ever achieve that
number, joining
legends Scott
Parker, Jared Mees,
Chris Carr, and Jay
Springsteen.
But the victorious
Rick Ware Racing
ace didn’t want to
talk about himself
after the race. He
said, “I don’t think
I deserve tonight to
talk about my
race; I think
tonight was in honor
of Dan Bromley.
There was a family
who lost a husband,
a son, a father… all
of the
above. We’re standing
in his home state of
Pennsylvania. I had
a good race,
but that’s not
what it’s about
tonight. I felt like
we did an incredible
job honoring Dan.”
Title leader Kopp
saw his advantage
narrowed that much
further, as Davis
Fisher (No. 67
Rackley Racing/Bob
Lanphere’s BMC
Racing KTM 790 Duke)
rebounded from what
nearly proved a
disastrous start to
overhaul Kopp and
collect his third
podium finish in a
row.
Bender picked up
fifth less than a
half-second behind
Kopp, while Trent
Lowe (No. 48
American
Honda/Mission Foods
Honda CB750 Hornet)
claimed his second
straight sixth.

take seventh, while

With just five races
left to decide the
Grand National
Championship, Kopp
leads by just three
points over Daniels
(206-203) and eleven
over Bauman (195).

chugged on, as the
Australian railed
his way to a fifth
consecutive victory
in breakaway style.
Drane figured to be
in for a fight, as
archrival Chase
Saathoff (No. 88 1st
Impressions Race
Team Husqvarna
FC450) had the pace
for much of the day.
However, come the
Main Event, Drane
dove
under holeshotter Bradon Pfanders (No.
83 Memphis
Shades/Corbin Seats
Yamaha YZ450F)
and opened up a gap
as early as the end
of lap 1.
Even after
Saathoff moved
into second on the
following lap, Drane
continued to pile it
up, upping his
advantage to more
than four seconds by
the time he claimed
his seventh victory
of 2026.
Drane said, “I had a
little look behind a
bit over halfway
through and saw I
had a good gap. I
decided to try to
get some faster laps
and push all the way
to the end, which I
was able to do.
I wouldn’t have been
able to do it
without my whole
Estenson Racing
Monster Energy
Yamaha team.”
While no match for
Drane, Saathoff was
that much better
than the rest of the
field, running a
very lonely race to
second – his third
such finish in a row
and his sixth podium
in his last seven
starts.

SXF) emerged from
the pack to secure
third, the
Pennsylvanian
celebrating a
popular maiden
Progressive AFT
podium in front of
the home crowd.
He was followed by
Jared Lowe (No. 63

CRF450R), who too
finished with a gap
in front and back to
conclude a
processional top
four.
Fifth, however, was
another story
entirely, as four
riders went to the
wire in a huge scrap
for the position.
The spot ultimately
went to Tarren
Santero (No. 75 Roof
Systems/Texas
Utility
Studies/Vinson
Construction Honda
CRF450R), who
scrapped his way
forward from the
bottom of top ten to
finish just ahead of
early
leader Pfanders.
Evan Kelleher (No.
31 Schaeffer's
Motorsports KTM 450
SX-F) took seventh
another 0.009
seconds back
of Pfanders, while
Walker Porter (No.
10 American
Honda/Mission Foods
CRF450R) and Trevor
Brunner (No. 21 KMA
Racing/March

YZ450F) came home
eighth and ninth,
respectively.

massive lead was
boosted up to 47
points over Saathoff

finished 14th on the
night, remains third
with 153 points.

2026 Build.Train.Race.
(BTR) season in
supreme fashion by
securing her second
consecutive
victory.
Rodriguez and Emma
Gottsch (No. 5 Royal
Enfield/Parts
Unlimited/Arai/Alpinestars)
traded the lead back
and forth a couple
of times early
before
Rodiguez ultimately
seized control of
the lead and raced
off to win the race
by more than four
seconds.
Still, the year as a
whole belonged to
Gottsch, who locked
up the championship
by way of three wins
and two
runners-up in five
races.
Gottsch actually came under
fire late from Hanna
Brewer (No. 39 Royal
Enfield/Parts
Unlimited/Arai/Alpinestars),
who picked up her
second podium of the
season in third.
Rodriguez’s victory
catapulted her up to
second in the final
standings, while
Julia Heess (No. 13
Royal Enfield/Parts
Unlimited/Arai/Alpinestars),
who missed the
finale due to
injury, wound up
third overall.
