American Flat
Track fans can
make the journey
to the legendary
Springfield Mile
part of the
race-day
experience on
Saturday,
September 5,
with a special
Route 66
Centennial
certified ride
created and
organized by 10x
Grand National
Champion and
Springfield Mile
promoter Jared
Mees in
partnership with
Harley-Davidson.
The one-day-only
ride will depart
from Conrad’s
Harley-Davidson
and take
participants
along Route 66
on their way to
the Illinois
State
Fairgrounds for
the Springfield
Mile.
Participation in
the ride is
free, with the
purchase of a
Springfield Mile
event ticket
required. The
first 75
participants to
register will
also receive an
exclusive event
T-shirt.

event, helping
celebrate 100
years of one of
America’s most
iconic highways
while bringing
motorcycle

destination for
the ride and a
full day of
Progressive AFT
action at the
Illinois State
Fairgrounds.
