FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2017) - Thursday nights are for American Flat Track! Don't miss tonight's Sturgis doubleheader on NBCSN starting with the Buffalo Chip TT presented by Indian Motorcycle episode at 10 p.m. ET and the Harley-Davidson Black Hills Half-Mile at 11 p.m. ET.

The first ever Buffalo Chip TT at the Legendary Buffalo Chip is an episode you won't want to miss! It was an action-packed event with lots of twists as the best flat track racers in the world hit a road course on dirt in front of a packed house.

While Jared Mees has the most to gain/lose with the championship on the line, Henry Wiles is the man with a target on his back at the TTs. Will Wiles keep his TT streak alive? Or will we have an upset?

In the AFT Singles class, points leader Shayna Texter looks to end her TT woes on the new purpose-built track. But two of the sports "Rising Stars" -- Kolby Carlile and Brandon Price -- are right on her heels and are looking to gain some ground. Also, like the AFT Twins presented by Vance & Hines class, AFT Singles has a TT ringer of its own - Hayden Gillim. The "Man in a Van with a Plan" is looking to spoil the party and keep his TT streak alive as well.

Shifting gears to the Black Hills Half-Mile, Mees looks to get revenge for last year's narrow loss to rival Bryan Smith. On the flip side, Smith needs some "W"s to close some ground on Mees in the title chase.

Like Smith, Texter is more of big track rider than a TT rider. So a win at Black Hills is critical for her title run in AFT Singles. Can Texter get the job done in her quest to make history as the sport's first ever female champion?

Tonight's episodes marks 12 and 13 of 18 shows, part of the weekly coverage of American Flat Track on NBCSN -- the Home of Motorsports -- Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET.
