MORGANTOWN, W.Va.
(July 3, 2025) – MX
Sports Pro Racing, Inc.,
in conjunction with
RedBud event organizers,
has announced that
Spanish trials icon Toni
Bou will serve as Grand
Marshal of this
Saturday’s Honda RedBud
National Presented by
Dixxon Flannel, the
sixth race of the 2025
Pro Motocross
Championship, sanctioned
by AMA Pro Racing. As
Grand Marshal, the
Repsol Honda HRC rider’s
unprecedented racing
career, which features
an incredible 37 FIM
World Championships
across the TrialGP and
X-Trial series, will be
celebrated.
Additionally, Bou will
showcase his talents for
those in attendance with
a pair of exclusive
exhibitions on a
temporary trial course
built for National
weekend.
“With accolades that
speak for themselves,
there may not be a more
decorated motorcycle
racer, regardless of
discipline, than Toni
Bou. We are so
incredibly honored that
he accepted our
invitation to serve as
Grand Marshal for this
year’s Honda RedBud
National,” said Amy
Ritchie, RedBud MX
co-owner. “Toni isn’t
just an icon. He
epitomizes the highest
level of talent and
skill ever witnessed in
the trial discipline.
While we’re accustomed
to big air and high
speeds in motocross,
trials is slow and
steady, with a high
degree of technical
difficulty. It demands
patience, discipline,
and meticulous attention
to detail and no one has
ever done it better than
Toni. His mastery of the
skill is something to
behold.”

Since 2007, Bou has won
every single trial
championship that’s been
contested, doing so
consecutively across two
respective series to
reach his historic mark
of 37 titles. He has
amassed 19 straight FIM
X-Trial World
Championships, wrapping
up his most recent crown
in the indoor discipline
in March, and has
complemented that with
18 straight FIM TrialGP
World Championships,
where he currently
enjoys a commanding lead
in the standings after
five rounds of outdoor
competition. During his
near two-decade reign,
Bou has captured an
astounding 253 total
victories (162 in
TrialGP; 91 in X-Trial)
to become the most
statistically dominant
competitive motorcyclist
on the planet.
Bou’s appearance at the
RedBud National will be
a pit stop before
continuing his pursuit
of a 19th consecutive
TrialGP title, as the
U.S. round of the
championship will take
place July 11-13 in
Exeter, Rhode Island. As
a special treat for race
attendees Bou and his
Repsol Honda HRC
teammate Gabriel
Moncelli, a fellow
Spaniard and former
Trial2 World Champion,
will keep their skills
sharp in preparation of
their next event with a
pair of exhibitions that
will take place on
Saturday morning, from
9:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
local time and from
10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
local time. The
exhibitions will take
place in the sponsor
village at RedBud MX.
