for Event’s 43rd Running

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (July
10, 2025) – MX
Sports Pro Racing, Inc.,
in conjunction with
Spring Creek MX Park,
has announced the
continued support from
Canadian gear company FXR
Racing, which will
once again serve as
title partner of the
43rd running of the FXR
Spring Creek National
Presented by Frescados
Tortillas, which
will take place this
Saturday, July 12, from
the dynamic Minnesota
venue. Littered with an
eclectic mix of exciting
track elements like the
sand rollers, Holy
Schmidt jump, Chadapult,
and Mount Martin, Spring
Creek MX Park has been
challenging racers since
1983 and will host Race
7 of the 2025 Pro
Motocross Championship,
sanctioned by AMA Pro
Racing, and Round 24 of
the SMX World
Championship regular
season.
“Our first two years of
partnership with FXR
have been amazing.
They’re incredibly
passionate about the
sport and have played a
significant role in two
of the most successful
Spring Creek Nationals
we’ve ever had,” said
Alex Martin, the affable
Pro Motocross stalwart
who has fully embraced
the family business
since his retirement in
2022. “We’re grateful
for their continued
support and are really
looking forward to this
year’s event, which will
be even more special
with my little brother,
Jeremy, set to make the
final start of his
career. I also can’t
forget to give
acknowledgement to
Frescados, who have been
loyal partner of our
event for many years.”
Every summer, the rural
town of Millville, and
its tiny population of
just a couple hundred
people, becomes the
global epicenter for the
sport of motocross, as
hundreds of amateur
races, tens of thousands
of passionate race fans,
and hundreds more
members of the Pro
Motocross paddock
converge on this quiet
southeast corner of
Minnesota. With the
namesake creek bisecting
the pit and the
racetrack, Spring Creek
MX Park offers an array
of activities both on
and off the track. Two
towering hillsides
surround the intimate
valley on which the
track sits, providing
not just incredible
sightlines for
spectators, but an
incredibly unique layout
that features arguably
the most dramatic
elevation changes in the
championship and the
longest start in
American motocross. This
buffet of standout
racing elements always
provides the perfect
recipe for a spectacular
day of racing.
FXR Racing was
established in Manitoba
in 1996 when founder
Milt Reimer seized an
opportunity to fill a
void in high performance
gear for snowmobile
riders. The company
quickly became a leader
in that category and
over the past 29 years
has continued to
diversify its product
offerings and expand
into other categories,
like motocross, to
become a truly versatile
brand. FXR’s rapid
ascension into the
motocross industry has
been notable and it is
now a major player in
the pro paddock thanks
to partnerships with
several respected
entities. The
independently owned
company is an integral
partner of
Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX
Yamaha and this year
added the new Triumph
Factory Racing effort in
addition to Malcolm
Stewart, a hugely
popular athlete who
partnered with FXR to
wear the gear on the
racetrack and create his
own line of fishing
apparel called 27
Parallel. It signifies a
major next step for both
Stewart and FXR and
shows the brand’s
commitment to the sport.

The second half of the
Pro Motocross season has
arrived, and both Honda
HRC Progressive’s Jett
Lawrence and Monster
Energy Yamaha Star
Racing’s Haiden Deegan
enjoy comfortable leads
in their respective
standings as the final
five races of the season
lie ahead. Lawrence has
been the rider to be
from the outset of the
450 Class campaign,
currently in the midst
of a six-race win streak
that has seen him fail
to win just two out of
12 motos. His most
impressive performance
of the summer came last
weekend at RedBud, with
a captivating 18th to
first climb through the
field that put an
exclamation point on the
dominance he’s displayed
thus far. With his most
recent win, Lawrence
moved out to a 51-point
lead over his brother,
Hunter Lawrence, in the
championship standings,
giving him a full race
worth of points over the
field. The last time
Jett Lawrence raced at
Spring Creek was during
his perfect season in
2023 and his success
there extends on year
further when he took the
2022 victory in the 250
Class. Meanwhile,
defending Spring Creek
winner and 450 Class
Champion, Red Bull KTM
Factory Racing’s Chase
Sexton, showed
impressive speed at his
first race since the
season opener and will
look to add himself to
the list of challengers
aiming to stop
Lawrence’s win streak.
While Deegan has been
similarly dominant in
the 250 Class for much
of the summer, the
defending champion comes
into Spring Creek on the
heels of a challenging
day at RedBud that saw
Deegan battle through
multiple instances of
adversity. His
fifth-place result
marked the first time he
failed to finish on the
overall podium this
season, but his
resilient effort showed
championship level grit
as Deegan did all he
could to minimize the
damage in the point
standings. While Honda
HRC Progressive’s Jo
Shimoda enjoyed the
spoils of his first win
with the team, in what
was arguably the most
dominant outing of his
career, the Japanese
rider is still faced
with a 38-point deficit
to Deegan. Shimoda’s
winning momentum and
Deegan’s determination
to bounce back from a
difficult race will make
for an exciting
storyline at Spring
Creek as both look to
capture their first win
at the venue while
Monster Energy Pro
Circuit Kawasaki’s Levi
Kitchen aims to defend
his maiden Pro Motocross
victory from a year ago.
