Spring
Classic To Launch 2025 Season at Karl Chevrolet Hamilton
County Speedway
The
2025 racing season roars to life this Friday and
Saturday, April 11-12, at the Karl Chevrolet Hamilton
County Speedway with the 15th Annual Spring Classic.
This two-night showdown features the Summit USMTS
National Championship presented by RacinDirt, showcasing
top Modified drivers battling for $5,000-to-win main
events each night.
The action-packed weekend
includes USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, and USRA Hobby
Stocks competing both nights, with USRA Tuners and Crown
Vics joining the lineup on Saturday.
Fans can
expect a fierce field of outlaw-style Modified drivers,
fresh off the King of America event where Jim Chisholm
and Cade Dillard each notched two wins, and Joe Chisholm
and Kyle Strickler claimed one apiece in the USMTS’s
first six races of the year.
To sweeten the deal,
the USMTS office is offering $5-off ticket prices for
those who stop by the trrack office between now and
Thursday, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Fans can also get in on a giveaway for a pair of
tickets to both nights’ races by liking, sharing, and
commenting on the event’s promotional post on Facebook,
with the drawing set for Thursday night during open
practice.
The practice session runs from 6 to
8:30 p.m., with pit passes priced at $25 and free
admission to the grandstands.
Organizers are
calling on fans to pack the grandstands for what
promises to be a stellar kickoff to the season. With a
strong contingent of the nation’s best Modified drivers
descending on Webster City, the Spring Classic is
shaping up to be a must-see event.
Stop by the
office, grab your discounted tickets, and join the
excitement April 11-12.
The Karl Chevrolet
Hamilton County Speedway is an historic dirt track
celebrated as the oldest continuously operating speedway
in Iowa. Located at 1200 Bluff Street, Webster City, IA
50595, at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, this
semi-banked, 3/8-mile oval has been a cornerstone of
Iowa’s racing scene since its first race in July 1910.
Construction of the current track began in 1938,
with its inaugural event held in September 1939 after
completion that spring. Nestled beside the Boone River,
the track’s natural hillside setting creates an
amphitheater-like experience for spectators.
The
speedway features a clay surface known for its fast,
competitive racing. Facility-wise, it offers
stadium-style seating in a covered grandstand, plus open
bleachers in turn one, accommodating a family-friendly
crowd.
Operated by TTMM Promotions under Todd and
Janet Staley, the track has seen recent upgrades,
including improved concessions, restrooms and a
lightning-fast racing surface revamped in 2018.
The USMTS is the ultimate proving ground where only the
fiercest, most skilled dirt slingers in North America
dare to tread. This is where legends are forged, battles
are won and the roar of engines drowns out the weak.
Since 1999, this is where the elite meet, and every
driver from the top guns to the local heroes get a shot
at glory at some of America's most brutal dirt tracks.
This is where the Best of the Best in dirt modified
racing come to show their mettle.
When it comes
to outlaw dirt modified racing, the USMTS has no equal.
USMTS is the Real Deal. Don't be afraid of the fast.
