Mullens Triumphant at Tri-State Speedway


POCOLA, Okla. (Sept. 12, 2025)—In a high-stakes, fast-paced event at Tri-State Speedway on Friday, Tanner Mullens of Wichita, Kan., emerged as the victor, taking home the win on "Honor the Fallen Night" at the Inaugural Red, White & Blue Nationals featuring the magnificent modifieds of the Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt.

 Mullens, who started from the sixth position, expertly navigated the field, fending off tough competition to claim his spot in victory lane. The win marks a significant achievement in the ongoing points battle.

The race for the top spots was a nail-biter, with Jim Chisholm of Osage, Iowa, securing a hard-fought second-place finish, adding to his strong performance this week. Cade Dillard of Robeline, La., finished in third, showcasing his consistent speed and skill. Making an impressive charge from 17th to fourth was Kyle Brown of Madrid, Iowa, earning him the FK Rod Ends Hard Charger Award for the night.

Rounding out the top five was championship points leader Rodney Sanders of Happy, Texas, who maintained his commanding presence at the front of the pack.

The action continues tomorrow, September 13, for the final night of the Red, White & Blue Nationals, where drivers will leave it all on the track in a final push for victory and championship glory.

Saturday is "Never Forget Night" with $20,000 going to the USMTS Modified main event winner, with no less than $1,000 to start for all drivers in the feature race. There will also be a $1,000-to-win Non-Qualifiers Race.

USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods will both be racing for $1,000 to win, along with Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks eyeing a $400 top prize.
