Forecast Forces Southern Thaw Rain-Outs; Arrowhead
Still Green for March 22-23
The RaceOn Southern Thaw
was slated to kick off this week, but due to a wet
and rainy forecast, the USRA Stock Car mini-series
events at the Rocket Raceway Park and Hunt County
Raceway have been cancelled.
The event for
March 22-23 at the Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord,
Okla., is still a go. Unfortunately, the shows at
Rocket Raceway Park and Hunt County Raceway will not
be rescheduled. Pre-paid entry fees for those events
will be refunded.
On Thursday, March 21,
Arrowhead Speedway will host an open practice while
both Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, will USRA
Stock Car main events that will shell out $5,000 to
the winner and no less than $500 to each driver that
takes the green flag to start the main event.
USRA B-Mods will also compete both nights while
USRA Tuners race Friday and Pure Stocks on Saturday.
