Mod, Factory Stock Rules Released

Class rules
for the USRA Limited Mod and Sunoco USRA Factory Stock
divisions are now posted for drivers in the Summit USRA
Weekly Racing Series ready to roar in 2023.
The
2023 rules for all divisions have been posted on the
USRA website and are available for competitors to
download at
usraracing.com/rules.
Few changes were made
to either class with the most recognizable change being
the addition of the American Racer G60-15 KK704 (Short,
Tall or X-Tall) racing tire as an option, along with the
Hoosier asphalt F45 pull-off tires.

The USRA has grown from 28 racetracks hosting
USRA-sanctioned divisions in 2018 to more than 50 of the
most popular dirt tracks in America hosting one or more
events during the 2022 racing season.
There are
currently eight divisions sanctioned for competition in
the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series: USRA Modifieds,
Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby
Stocks, USRA Late Models, USRA Limited Mods, Sunoco USRA
Factory Stocks and USRA Tuners.
Licensed to
thrill: Registration is open for racers
planning to compete in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing
Series during the 2023 calendar year. The first 300
drivers to purchase a USRA license will receive a Summit
Racing Equipment $50 gift card.
All competitors
at a USRA-sanctioned event must possess either a USRA
Competitor License or USRA Temporary License to
participate in the event. Drivers competing in
USRA-sanctioned events are eligible to earn track,
regional and national points in the Summit USRA Weekly
Racing Series from January 1 through October 29, 2023.

register by phone, or submit a completed USRA License
Application by email at
office@usraracing.com or fax
(515) 832-7958. You can
download the application at
usraracing.com/downloads.
Credit card
transactions include a $5 processing fee. To avoid this
charge, mail a check with your completed form.
The cost of a USRA Competitor License for the 2023
calendar year is unchanged from 2022. USRA Modifieds are
$130, Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA Late Models are
$110, and licenses are $100 for USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby
Stocks, USRA Limited Mods and Sunoco USRA Factory
Stocks. USRA Tuners are $60.
All licenses fees
will increase by $20 beginning March 6, 2023.
Competitors must purchase a USRA Competitor License on
or before June 30 to earn full points funds, and
competitors may also designate their intention to
compete for Rookie of the Year in their division.
