Stewart Unveils Snap-on Tools Sprinter Wednesday
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (August 6, 2005) – Leading World of Outlaws Sprint Series Rookie of the Year contender Shane Stewart, hailing from Bixby, OK, will unveil a specially designed Snap-on Tools themed Sprint Car on Wednesday afternoon, prior to the initial night of the 45th Annual Knoxville Nationals.
Currently ranked twelfth in WoO points aboard the Wesmar-powered Rudeen Racing powered by mIn Motorsports No. 26 Maxim, Stewart and team will unveil the new car during an autograph session at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum on Wednesday, August 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
With Snap-on Tools celebrating its 85th Anniversary, a limited edition of 85 signed and numbered red, pocketed tee shirts will be for sale on Tuesday. There will also be a number of special edition white tee shirts commemorating the teaming of Shane Stewart on the 85th Anniversary of Snap-on Tools.
The two-time and defending Southern Iowa Sprint Week “Mr. Sprint Car” champion, Stewart has posted seventh-place finishes in each of the last two Knoxville Nationals championship main events.
