ASCS Northern Plains Finale at Casino is a Bust WATERTOWN, S.D. (September 8, 2007) – Inclement weather, including excessive rain over the past two days and cold temperatures, forced the cancellations of Saturday night's scheduled season-ending American Sprint Car Series Northern Plains Region event at Casino Speedway. With the cancellation, 19-year-old Lee Grosz of Harwood, ND, officially becomes the ASCS Northern Plains Region 2007 champion, taking the crown by a 112-point margin over fellow North Dakota shoe Dave Glennon of Casselton.
