Miller Masters ASCS Rebel Region

at Green Valley

 

Lonnie Wheatley, GLENCOE, Ala. (May 24, 2008) – Michael Miller reached American Sprint Car Series victory lane for the first time by topping Saturday night's 25-lap ASCS Rebel Region feature at Green Valley Speedway.

 

Miller took command for keeps with a half dozen laps remaining and took the checkered flag aboard the Broome-powered Williamson Brothers No. 4m Thomas Enterprises Trucking entry.

 

Matt Tiffany paced the opening 13 rounds before Miller swept into the lead.  Miller couldn't rest easy yet, as Kenny Adams challenged for the point for several rounds.

 

Miller and Adams traded sliders for several laps before Adams spun on lap 19, giving Miller clear track to the checkered flag.  Miller was chased to the stripe by Matt Linder, with Brad Bowden, Samantha Taylor and Adams rounding out the top five.

 

Adams and Bowden won the heat races.
