Adams Rules ASCS Rebels at Fayetteville

 

Lonnie Wheatley, FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (June 7, 2008) – Kenny Adams became the first repeat winner of the season in American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region competition by wiring the field in Saturday night's 25-lap feature Fayetteville Motor Speedway.

 

Adams extended his current series point lead by picking off his second ASCS Rebel Region win of the season aboard the Don Ott-powered B&W Trucking/CnB Mushroom Farms No. 4a Shaw.

 

Adams was chased to the line by Matt Tiffany, who moved into a tie for second in series points with third-place finisher Bryn Gohn.  Red Stauffer was fourth, with Gavin Thomas rounding out the top five.

 

Tiffany and Adams won the heat races.
