Lonnie Wheatley, DODGE CITY, Kan. (July 17, 2019) – Summer is heating up
and so is the racing action at Dodge City Raceway Park with a full slate
of championship racing action this Saturday night atop the 3/8-mile clay
oval in southwest Kansas.
Saturday’s card includes the Precise Racing Products DCRP Sprint Cars
along with IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modified, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA
Hobby Stocks with racing action going green at 7:30 p.m.
Admission for Saturday’s card is just $12 for adults with children 11
and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
Also, those presenting ticket stubs from the Saturday night, July 13,
will be admitted for just $5.
While the DCRP Sprint Cars return to action after an idle week, the
tightest championship battles are in the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sport
Larned’s William Nusser leads Trent Gray by just 12 points in the
Modified points battle with multi-time track champion Jeff Kaup of
Woodward just eight points ahead of Brian May in the Sport Modified
Luke Cranston leads the way in Sprint Car points over defending track
champion Steven Richardson with Angel Munoz atop the Stock Car point
charts and reigning Hobby Stock champ Reagan Sellard leading the way as
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dodge City located at 201 4th

In total, the 2019 season atop the 3/8-mile Dodge City Raceway Park clay
oval is slated for 18 nights of action along with another eight Sunday
cards atop the newly-constructed 1/7-mile Little DCRP clay oval.
