STIDA Announced as Title Sponsor of 2020 Late Model Power Rankings

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (February 24, 2020) – The Open Wheel Power Rankings will expand into additional areas in 2020 with Lonnie Wheatley and the Short Track Independent Drivers and Associates (STIDA) partnering to present the STIDA Late Model Power Rankings in 2020.

STIDA has served as the title sponsor of the STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings at since the Rankings’ inception in 2013.

“We have always enjoyed what Lonnie does with the Power Rankings and felt this way a perfect way to diversify and expand the STIDA brand throughout an additional form of dirt track racing,” STIDA president Robbie Rice commented.

The initial STIDA Late Model Power Rankings will debut next week (the first week of March) with regular updates provided throughout the season.

The STIDA Late Model Power Rankings will join the stable of Power Rankings including STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Cars, Non-Wing Sprint Cars and Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Cars, each presented at, as well as the Midget Power Rankings.

Just as the Open Wheel Power Rankings are conducted, the 2020 STIDA Late Model Power will be determined by cumulative points based on a sliding scale dependent upon car count at Late Model events across all sanctions and non-sanctions throughout North America.
