Lagroon Claims First-Career NCRA Modified Victory!

Park City, Kansas – May 26, 2018 - It was a night that Salina, Kansas driver Corey Lagroon won’t soon forget as he claimed his first-career National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified feature Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City.

Lagroon, who started in the twenty-five-lap feature, held off three-time and defending tour champion Dan Powers while Cody Schniepp continues to impress as he finished third from his eleventh starting position. Ryan McAninch finished fourth while pole sitter Tyler Davis rounded out the top five.

The three heat races for the twenty-eight-car field were won by Brian Franz, Powers and Davis while Schnieep claimed the twelve lap “B” feature.

Next up for the NCRA modified tour will be on Father’s Day, June 17, at 81 Speedway for the annual Father’s Day Classic/Bill Hall Memorial where Schnieep will come into the night with a slim twenty-five-point lead over Powers.
