Park City, Kansas – June 20, 2018 -
Just five days from their last event, the National
Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas
presented by Precise Racing Products modified division
is set for a weekend double-header as this Friday night
they will make their second and final appearance of the
season at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas before
making a return trip to 81 Speedway in Park City on
Saturday night.
Cody Schniepp continues his lead in the current point
standings while three-time and defending tour champion
Dan Powers sits just ten points behind. The hottest
driver on the tour, Tanner Mullens, has conquered three
of the four events held thus far this season and is 100
points out of the top position. Mullens took the
checkered flag the last time the tour competed against
the track regulars back on May 4th where
twenty-seven cars were entered.
Touring regulars expected to make the trip include Scott
Green, Tyler Davis, Josh Lanterman, Tad Davis, Jake
Nightengale, Bruce Schniepp, Brandon Massey, Jason
McGehee, Ryan McAninch and more.
The tracks NASCAR modified division will be led by Mitch
Keeler, Payden Phillips and Jim Body, among others all
vying for the $1000 to win, $300 to start feature
finale.
NCRA will utilize their rule package and all Humboldt
cars wanting to run their American Racer tires can use
the USRA rule book and spoiler package.
Humboldt Speedway is located off Hwy. 169 to Humboldt
exit, then 0.1 mile west, then 0.5 mile south, then 0.9
mile east. Gates will open at 6:00 PM with race time
slated for 8:00 PM. Adult grandstand general admission
is just $15 while kids ages 6-15 grandstand tickets are
$5.
Then on Saturday night it’s a return trip to 81 Speedway
where Mullens collected his third feature victory of the
season this past Saturday night. Gates will open at 5:00
PM with race time set for 7:00 PM. Grandstand admission
is $15 for adults while children eleven and under will
be admitted into the grandstands for free.
However, Saturday night is “CDL Night” at 81 Speedway.
Anyone who has a valid CDL and one guest will be
admitted FREE into the grandstands. You must show proper
and active CDL at the ticket booth.
81 Speedway is located North of Wichita on I-135 to exit
16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park

Championship Racing Association and the 21st

In the staging area: After this weekends double-header,
the tour will be back in action on Saturday night, July
14, at 81 Speedway with the NCRA vs ASCS 360-sprints and
the USAC Oklahoma Wingless sprint cars also on the race
card.
