New and Different atop the NCRA Modified Division
Heading into Saturday Night!
Park City, Kansas – July 8, 2018 - It’s quite the mixture of drivers who sit atop the top three in current point standings as the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division gets back into race action this coming Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City.
As we enter race seven on the 2018 season for the tour, Cody Schniepp continues to sit atop the current point standings, a position the Wichita driver has never experienced, yet holds a 65-point lead despite having yet reaching victory lane.
Hot on his tails is three-time and defending tour champion Dan Powers, who is also winless thus far this season. Third-generation driver Tanner Mullens has three victories on the tour and sits third in the standings, just 70 points out of the lead.
All three drivers have finished in the top five, five times this season.
Former tour champion Scott Green currently sits in the fourth position while former champion Tyler Davis, who took home his lone victory of the season in the tours last event, rounds out the top five.
Sixth through tenth in the standings include Josh Lanterman, Tad Davis, Bryce Schniepp, Jake Nightingale and Brandon Massey.
Cory Lagroon, who has the other tour victory of the season, currently sits eleventh in the standings.
Over thirty drivers are expected for race seven of the season.
