Kinderknecht Back to Winning Ways, Claims NCRA Mod Lite Victory!
Park City, Kansas – July 14, 2018 - After suffering a rare “DNF” at the last event back on July 3rd, current series points leader Justin Kinderknecht quickly got back on the winning track as he claimed the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products mod lite feature victory Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City.
Kinderknecht and Alex Loveless started on the front row for the fifteen-lap feature but it was third-starting Chris Unruh who took the lead as the green flag fell. Kinderknecht took the lead one lap later and would go on to claim his fourth touring victory of the season. In the three-year history of the division, the three-time and defending tour champion has yet to lose two feature victories in a row.
Unruh would settle for second while tenth-starting Ryan Ayers finished third. Dustin Forsberg came home fourth while Jeremy Heim rounded out the top five.
The NCRA Mod Lite division will be back in action on Thursday night, August 2, on the small quarter-mile oval located inside the famed Belleville High Banks half-mile in Belleville, Kansas.
