All-Day Dirtacular Set for 81 Speedway This Saturday!
Park City, Kansas – April 23, 2017 -
With the hopes that Mother Nature has decided she has had enough
of dropping liquid precipitation across the Kansas area, 81
Speedway in Park City, Kansas is ready to kick off the 2017 race
season this coming Saturday afternoon and evening with a
full-slate of dirt track auto racing. The all-day “dirtacular”
will also see the season-opener for the National Championship
Racing Association 360-ci sprint car division.
The tracks regular divisions of
modifieds, AAA modifieds, rookie modifieds, mod-lites, thumpers
and street stocks will take to the track starting at 2:00 PM
with a full-set of heat races. Gates will open at 12:00 PM.
After all the heat races are complete
and track prep concluded, all the above-mentioned divisions will
take part in their last chance and features with the NCRA sprint
car division competing in a full-set of heat races, last chance
and feature finale. Race time is slated for a 7:00 PM start
time.
81 Speedway is located
north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th
