Longdale,
Oklahoma – August 13, 2017 - The annual “Poor Stock Madness” is
set to take place this coming Saturday night (August 19) at
Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma with $2000 awaiting the
winner of the night’s thirty-lap main event. Also competing will
be the tracks IMCA stock car division with $1500 to win for that
divisions feature winner.
Texas factory
stocks are welcome to compete in this annual event but must be
100% Texas factory stock rules or 100% Longdale Speedway pure
stock rules. NO mixing or matching of the rules will be allowed.
Arguably the
most successful weekly divisions for Longdale Speedway, the pure
stock class has seen fifty drivers compete in at least one event
thus far this season with Tyler Scruggs leading the way. Track
regulars expected include Brian Byrd, Marvin Allen, Tommy
Bohnstedt, Donald Kaup, Austin Sessions, Hesston Shaw, Lance
Sessions and Kade Griffin.
Last year saw
Scruggs earning the victory over a 22-car field.

Pit gates open
at 5:00 PM with race action scheduled for 7:00 PM. Grandstand
adult general admission is $10 while all seniors and military
grandstand admission is $8. Children 12 and under will be
admitted into the grandstands for free. All pit passes are just
