FLUIDYNE
POWERSPORTS' NEW YAMAHA
YZ450F RADIATORS:
TOUGHER, MORE EFFICIENT
& LESS EXPENSIVE THAN
STOCK
SAN BERNARDINO,
Calif. (February 13, 2010) -
After a victorious debut of
the radical, new 2010 Yamaha
YZ450F, James Stewart's
early-season injury proved
that he is not the Man of
Steel. And just like the
world's best riders, even
the most revolutionary
motorcycles have chinks in
their armor.
In the heat of battle, a
motocrosser's lightweight,
perilously located radiators
can suffer from boiling over
and succumb to crash damage.
While racing or in
trail-attack mode, this can
lead to overheating,
short-term power loss,
premature oil breakdown or
worse.
That's why FLUIDYNE®
Powersports developed
stronger, more efficient
radiators for the
latest-generation YZ450F.
This performance and
durability upgrade keeps its
forward-tilted motor at
optimum temperature in
low-air-flow riding
conditions and provides
consistent cooling in
high-speed situations.
Handcrafted in California,
these beefy radiators utilize
a highly efficient, 28mm
wide, 18-tube core with 5mm
tall air fins.
Compared to the stock
radiators, the FLUIDYNE®
Powersports units boast 25
percent more fluid capacity
to lower coolant
temperatures significantly.
FLUIDYNE® radiators are also
built more rugged to fend
off damage. Constructed from
aircraft-quality aluminum,
structural highlights
include thicker materials
throughout, a CNC-machined
billet filler neck, beaded
hose connections for
leak-proof sealing and a
stainless-steel radiator cap
rated at 16 lbs. These
components are held together
with substantial TIG welds
to withstand extreme
conditions and produce a
crash survival rate far
exceeding the OEM parts.
Not only do FLUIDYNE®
Powersports' new YZ450F
radiators out-cool and
outlast the stock units,
they come with a one-year
warranty and install easily
(even with aftermarket fuel
tanks), utilizing the
factory mounts and hardware.
Multi-time winners in the
2009 SCORE and Best in the
Desert series, including the
grueling Baja 1000 and
1000-mile Vegas-to-Reno
race, FLUIDYNE® Powersports
radiators have been proven
around the world. Developed
and manufactured in the
United States, they are
built upon 50 years of
experience in vehicular
fluid dynamics.
Available for Yamaha's
entire lineup of off-road
bikes and other late-model
motorcycles, ATVs and
side-by-side vehicles,
FLUIDYNE® Powersports
radiators are distributed by
Parts Unlimited,
Tucker-Rocky, WPS, KK
Motorcycle Supply, MTA,
Southern Motorcycle Supply,
CV-4 and IMS Products-making
them readily available
through thousands of dealers
nationwide.
When the heat is on,
FLUIDYNE® Powersports
radiators keep things cool.
