USRA Tuners, Boosts USRA B-Mod Points Fund
After more than a decade of steering the ship at the
Caney Valley Speedway, promoter Kerry Gorby is making
some big changes for the 2021 racing season.
For
starters, the 1/4-mile bullring in Caney, Kansas, will
add the growing grassroots USRA Tuner division to the
weekly Saturday night lineup, joining the USRA B-Mods as
part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action.
AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories has come on board as
the track’s title sponsor of the USRA B-Mods, and that
spells big money every week and at year’s end for
racers.
The Caney Valley Speedway will pay $600
to win the USRA B-Mod main event every night, with a
minimum $75 going to every feature race starter.
What’s more, the new partnership with AmeriFlex Hose &
Accessories added to the track’s investment and the
already-stout USRA points fund will see the 2021 USRA
B-Mod track champion earn a record $2,500 while tenth in
the final standings gets $500.

The points battle launches April
3 and wraps up October16 for both classes. The American
Racer USRA Modified Series invades Saturday, June 26,
for the “The Gold Rush” as part of the 3rd Annual Club91
Dirt Track & Honky Tonk Extravaganza.

Tyler Kidwell of
Chanute, Kansas, is a three-time and defending track
champion in Caney. He has 44 USRA B-Mod main event
victories in the last three seasons.
