USRA Welcomes
Wilwood Engineering as Contingency Sponsor
CAMARILLO, Calif.
(Feb. 3) —
The world leader in high-performance
disc brake systems, Wilwood Engineering will be a
contingency sponsor in 2022 for competitors in the
Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.
In addition to
contributing cash to the year-end points fund, Wilwood
will award a set of new brake rotors to the USRA
national champion in the USRA Modified, Medieval USRA
Stock Car, USRA B-Mod, USRA Hobby Stock, USRA Late
Model, USRA Limited Mod and Sunoco USRA Factory Stock
divisions.
What’s more,
the rest of the top-five finishers in national points in
those divisions will share in more than $4,000 in
product certificates.

company's engineering department uses the latest
computer-aided design and manufacturing techniques in
conjunction with finite element analysis, dynamic test
and cycle test equipment to find high-performance and
reliability solutions for the most difficult braking
tasks. Our extensive inventory of proprietary
on-the-shelf components allow us to provide
cost-effective solutions for unique brake applications.
Wilwood is ISO 9000 compliant and has extensive
experience maintaining quality levels of 100ppm or less
for original equipment manufacturers.
