Early Bird Pricing for Summit USRA Nationals And More Ends June 30


WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (June 27) — Registration is ongoing for competitors planning to compete in the 9th Annual Summit USRA Nationals, Tuesday-Saturday, Oct. 4-8 at the Lucas Ol Speedway in Wheatland, Mo.

The early bird deadline for competitors to save some money and get signed up the Summit USRA Nationals is approaching fast. Here are the prices deadlines for entry fees for the event:

USRA Modifieds:
$100 if received by June 30
$125 if received by July 31
$150 if received by Aug. 31
$175 if received by Sept. 30
$200 at the gate on raceday

Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods:
$75 if received by June 30
$100 if received by July 31
$125 if received by Aug. 31
$150 if received by Sept. 30
$175 at the gate on raceday

USRA Hobby Stocks:
$50 if received by June 30
$75 if received by July 31

During the Summit USRA Nationals, all competitors must possess a USRA Competitor License (no temps). Online registration is available at usraracing.com/register. Alternatively, you can download the USRA license application at usraracing.com/downloads and mail a check with your completed form or call (515) 832-6000 or (515) 832-7944.

Track and regional points will not be awarded at any racetrack during Summit USRA Nationals week. National points will be awarded only at the Summit USRA Nationals and each competitor will earn 100 bonus national points.

Drivers must purchase a USRA Competitor License on or before June 30 or will get just one-half of the points funds the driver is eligible for. For complete information about your division’s rules, see usraracing.com/rules.

Any driver that had a cement parking spot in 2021 will get the first option but must renew no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, by calling (515) 832-6000 or (515) 832-7944.

USRA offices will be closed Friday through Monday, July 1-5, for the Independence Day holiday weekend.

The 9th Annual Summit USRA Nationals will kick off with an open practice on Monday, Oct. 3, racing will take place every night from Tuesday through Saturday, Oct. 4-8, and all USRA classes will participate at one time or another during the six-day event.

Modifieds: Four heats from four different starting spots (front, back, middle, middle) determine lineups for Saturday's main events using driver's three best finishes w/ fourth as tiebreaker). Top 15 are locked into Saturday's A-Main which will start 30 cars three-wide.

SUMMIT SHOOTOUT

The Summit Shootout returns in 2022 and will feature USRA track champions and Summit Shootout qualifying race winners from across America to participate in this one-of-a-kind blockbuster battle royale for competitors in the USRA Modified, Medieval USRA Stock Car, USRA B-Mod and USRA Hobby Stock divisions.

Summit Shootout heats and feature races will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during this year's Summit USRA Nationals.

To qualify for the Summit Shootout you must (1) be a current track champion or points leader as of Oct. 2 at a sanctioned Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series racetrack or (2) win a Summit Shootout Qualifier during the 2022 racing season. If the winner of a Summit Shootout Qualifier is also a track champion, the second-place finisher in that Summit Shootout Qualifier will get the invite to race in the Summit Shootout.

All USRA-sanctioned tracks will have the opportunity to host a Summit Shootout Qualifier during a Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series event.
