This has been
revised to reflect the correct entry fee deadlines
and amounts.
After more than
300 cars entered the three-day show last year, the
Summit USRA Nationals returns to Lucas Oil Speedway
in 2022 with an expanded to a six-night show from

including USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars,
USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Late Models,
USRA Limited Mods, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and

season, you must call the USRA office and get your
spot reserved. Drivers that had the spot last year
get first shot this year but the deadline is this
Friday, Aug. 5. All remaining spots will be open up
on Monday, Aug. 8.

with one of our helpful staff members, you can also
get registered for the event if you have not done so
already. Plus, you can purchase your USRA license
during your call too.

QUALIFYING
PROCEDURES
Modifieds, Stock
Cars, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks will compete
in four heats from four different starting spots
(front, back, middle, middle) on Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday (each class races 2 days with Summit
Shootout on their off day). Each day that your class
has heat races, the top 16 in passing points will
advance to that night's A-Main for the class plus 2
provisionals based on USRA national points.
Combined points using each driver's three best
finishes (w/ fourth as tiebreaker) on Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday determine lineups for
Saturday's A-Mains. The top 15 in Modifieds, Stock
Cars and B-Mods are locked into Saturday's A-Mains.
The top 20 in Hobby Stocks are locked into
Saturday's A-Main. Additional A-Main starters will
transfer from Friday's Last Chance Races. All four
or Saturday's A-Mains will start 30 cars three-wide.
Late Models and Tuners will run
a complete show of Heat Races, B-Main(s) and an
A-Main on Thursday with the top 12 in Thursday's
A-Main locked into Friday's A-Main (top 8 redraw).
Both classes will run B-Main(s) and an A-Main on
Friday. Two provisionals based on USRA national
points will be added to the A-Mains in both classes.
Limited Mods and Factory Stocks
will run a complete show of Heat Races, B-Main(s)
and an A-Main on Friday with the top 12 in Friday's
A-Main locked into Saturday's A-Main (top 8 redraw).
Both classes will run B-Main(s) and an A-Main on
Saturday. Two provisionals based on USRA national
points will be added to the A-Mains in both classes.
All drivers in each class add 100 bonus points
in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national
points. No track and/or regional points are awarded
at this event or any USRA-sanctioned racetrack from
Oct. 3-8.
