VIRginia International Raceway hosts the first GT-only
event of the year for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar
Championship � the Michelin GT Challenge. Catch the NBCSN
broadcast of the two-hour, 40-minute race featuring the GTLM
and GTD classes twice this weekend. The first broadcast is
Saturday, August 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET with the second airing
on Sunday, August 23 at 10 a.m. ET. Qualifying is available
to watch on IMSA.com/TVLive on Friday evening beginning at
5:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the fourth round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot
Challenge season � the Virginia Is For Racing Lovers Grand
Prix � is the final race of the weekend on Sunday at 2:55
p.m. The IMSA Prototype Challenge also has its fourth round
of the season at VIR on Sunday at 9:35 a.m. Both races can
be streamed live, flag-to-flag on TrackPass on NBC
Sports Gold.
VIR also hosts the second doubleheader weekend for two of
IMSA’s single-make series, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by
Yokohama and Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America. GT3 Cup
Challenge USA has its two races on Saturday at 5:10 p.m. and
Sunday at 11:45 a.m. Race 1 for Super Trofeo is set for
Saturday at 11:50 a.m., while Race 2 is set for Sunday at
12:55 p.m. All four races can be streamed live on
IMSA.com/TVLive.
